Coffee, Netflix, Yoga Pants

Lets be real. The cure for the rainy day blues is hunkering down with your favourite Netflix show and a cuppa joe. The yoga pants are a given – being a vancouverite and all. I’m sure Whitehorse has its fair share of yoga-pant-wearers but it seems to be a sort of epidemic on the streets of Vancouver (I’m not complaining).

My collection of yoga pants is nothing to be scoffed at – after spending hundreds of dollars at places like Lulu Lemon and Aritzia. Don’t get me wrong, I am loving and loyal to my Lulus because they are truly made to last but I couldn’t help wondering if there was something cheaper out there.

I’m a bit of a thrift store junkie but used yoga pants seem – to put it lightly – nasty. So I looked and tried on tights all over town, from H&M to smaller boutiques in Vancouver. Little did I know that I would find my favourite tights where I spend most of my days – Unity! after trying these babies on I knew they were mine. They haeven everything I look for in a pair of tights – higher waist to pull over my pudge, not see-through (duh), soft fabric, and the booty was poppin’. These were just the regular tights I tried, not the seasonal. In the winter we get fleece lined leggings. I never thought I would say this but I cannot wait for it to get cold again so I can get myself a pair of those.

Tights problem solved, tea in hand from our favourite guys at Bean Around the World Lower Lonsdale, now what to watch on Netflix?

Until next time,

xo Unity
